Unfortunately remembering the good old days lead me to some neurones I thought I had expunged with sufficient alcohol to a poster once known as "HQRSE".
To those who do not remember, be thankful, to those that do, I apologise.
From what I've been able to gather, there was some hubbub with the mods, and the Garry went into the Discord and was saying things claiming that we all want everything shut down, and then he started flicking the lights on-and-off and intimating that he was really gonna do it this time.
Problem is that you're all asking for clarification which is something we're just never gonna get. Garry could say that the forums would be shut down tomorrow and then just never do it, or say that they'll stay up and then shut them off ten minutes later.
I've had my barbs with the whole way this Knockout stuff has gone down - but it feels like we're crossing the Rubicon here.

Thanks for that, good read. It's crazy how quickly it became dated though with the whole SpaceX stuff happening. I don't agree with all of it (more of a Zubrin kinda person) but it was a good read. The replies to you in the thread are ridiculous though, the best response they could come up with to an essay is "That sounds like a huge waste of time."
