I'm just glad they finally resolved the cliffhanger at the end of SG2 where the midget was written to have gone into a coma after a falling out between the actors during production. I'm glad they patched things up and she was able to reprise her role.

Remove "the boys" from the sentence and you have "I preparing for Unforseen Consequences." That means "me and the boys" is correct.
Didn't they literally say they were doing a Terminator cross over seconds before that happened though? It's not impressive to 'predict' something after you've already been told about it.
Also the scene is literally a remake of the opening of T2.
That's not how the structure of the sentence works. If we strip everything away, the sentence boils down to "The boys prepare for consequences." Subject, verb, predicate. Adding yourself to the subject adds "and I" - "The boys and I," "about to" is an adverb for "prepare," and "unforeseen" is the adjective for "consequences." Also keep in mind that "I" is a subject pronoun, where as "me" is an object pronoun. "I gave the ball to him" versus "He gave the ball to me."
Colloquially, we'll all say "me and the boys," but if you're going "by the book," it's supposed to be "the boys and I."
nobody gives a shit anyway ;_;
They did, it also said it at the bottom of the screen.
It's more of a politeness thing than an actual grammar rule, it's about putting yourself in the back rather than at the front of the sentence
It is a grammar rule - it's the difference between an object and a subject.
