I posted a little in the 07-09 range, but after I dropped off posting I basically kept to lurking. Even after the transfer from old to newpunch I never bothered with avatars or anything like that since I never post.
Hey man, I get this was probably a joke, but that was needlessly rude.
I used to post all the time back in my early years on the site. Got busy and all the friends I've made her have forgotten a out me mostly, it makes me feel so much regret.
Probably should'a posted when I had the chance, but it's been an honor lurking with you all.
I hope to use Knockout as a place to post more and I'll try to be more active. I've seen so much support and so many different people really bloom and develop over the years on this forum and I'd like to contribute to that kind of stuff as I enter a new place in my life.
I'm not some kind of veteran of Facepunch, but I've been around during middle school and high school years, so it has made a big impact on my life. I'm just grateful for what kind of a place it has been for me to go to when crazy stuff in the world happens.
I hope to see most of the posters over on Knockout and I hope to see more lurkers posting over there too.

Never posted much but man will I miss this place. I've seen all the antics since 09 and kept up to date on news and memes thanks to SH and LMAO. I think I've visited this website nearly every day for 10 years. I guess KO it is but it will never be the same (or maybe it will, I'm just lamenting at this point).

I wasn't exactly a lurker, but I didn't post nearly as much as some of the community's more active members. Maybe I'll be less cautious about sharing my opinions after the transition.
And I thought I was a lurker; some of the people here have posts less than 100! Not to devalue any members because of your lurking us somewhat more active posters appreciated your ratings throughout the years!

Lurking about, scrolling through Perskin Megathreads, always a bit afraid of how often the HAMMER OF JUSTICE dropped at random.
This year I finally decided to jump on the wagon, and while it was indeed a short ride, it was a satisfying one.

Hard to believe it's been 13 years, I'm going to miss it here. Time to start lurking on Knockout I guess.
I regret not trying to become more part of the community. I don't regret the time spent here though. Many boring, lonely hours at work were soothed by browsing Facepunch. I had a small feeling the end was near when Oldpunch was closed (rip in peace, loved the aesthetic).
Facepunch has helped me form more mature opinons on serious topics and also helped me get better at art. Miss the old days of laughing at Tom Preston in the Deviantart Appreciation Station. If you're still around Dai, thanks for hanging with us there!

Not as active as i use to be, posted a lot in Gmod sections back around 06-08, don't really have much to say so i just lurk and check threads of interest.
And the well curated LMAO thread is a god send here.
Still can't complain, this community is something, made some good friends along the way.

I don't regret it. Sure I'm no famous FPer like some but it's fine, I enjoy watching others doing weird/funny/whatever stuff.

honestly I think ratings are the reason I became a lurker, I know you're not meant to really care about them but they'd just subconsciously affect me. If any of my posts were rated dumb, I'd take it really personally and avoid posting for a while, thinking I'd somehow disgraced the community
