Heart shit's terrifying.
I had a bout with atrial fibrillation a few years back- which for being 22 at the time was really abnormal for someone my age, and they couldn't get my heartbeat to normalize no matter what they tried- even defibbing me three seperate times. They kept me in the hospital until it eventually just... went away.
Now every little thing I feel in my chest that can even slight by misconstrued as "abnormal" freaks me the fuck out.
I mean I guess it's nice to know it's not, like, going to kill me boom stone dead at speaking moment, it's just uncomfortable and scary
but I mean if it keeps up it could be a real future health hazard and that's less comforting
the doc was like "well, slower heart rates are common in athletes, do you exercise a lot?" and I just smiled and said "hahaha, no, and I have a desk job" to which she slowly nodded and said "... I'm gonna schedule you for an EKG" and I quickly stopped smiling
Anyone got any advice at getting better at math? That's my weakest area in education by far. In college I'm acing everything else but math is the thing that's been a real bitch for me.
