It really mitigated the loss of the glorious 1:2 gold avatars I know you can work your way back up to 80x160 but that takes way more coins than just a background.

i just threw a transparent square as my avatar since you can't remove an avatar altogether because i realized my background works better alone

I think avatar backgrounds were my favorite addition to the forum, they look so nice
