So I vaguely remember this website that collected mass data on FP users and the ratings they received, so you could look at the amount of funnies a user had gotten over the years, check out the highest rated posts in each category etc, until the person who ran that site kind of lost their shit.
Is there a chance we could have some version of that built in to the site?

I just tested it and it sounds the same size for me on a 5' screen, don't have any problem hitting them one-handed though... imho it shouldn't be larger considering how seldom that's used anyway

Unable to filter by date when searching posts. Other filters working as intended.
Well it turns out google doesn't let you keep using your account for authentication once it's removed from their system. It also turns out that re-adding the domain in google apps doesn't let me login on my account here even with the exact same email. Going to miss not having 69 on the end of my name, oh well. I'm using a free account now so that won't be a problem in the future.
IMO there should be a recovery option on the forum even if it's a one time use password.
can we get edit lines / markers so edited posts are more obvious? the "edited x hours ago by Y" isn't very visible

yeah, like on the other forums. might just be i'm extremely accustomed to it but it's a handy visual marker that a post has been altered.

It's only displayed on oldpunch if there was an automerge, not for post edits
on oldpunch you can manually add [editline]time[/editline] to show you've made an edit to a post. it'd be nice if it was automatically appended to a post after an edit is made.
I think you're talking about automerge rather than edit. We could have editing automatically add "EDITED" to the post, but it would break down if you were editing to fix a spelling mistake or something rather than adding more stuff to the bottom of the post.
Yeah, I was also thinking of the automerge today, shall be interesting to see it done with quill. would assume it's just another block, or whatever they call them.
The json it generates is called a delta. Merging should be as easy as combining the two ops.. hopefully
I always end up adding EDIT: to my posts anyway, how about it inserts 'EDIT:' if you edit and it has a line break? Is that easily done?
Just double post and let the automerge do the job...
How about you just type EDIT: if you want your post to say EDIT: and if you don't want it to say EDIT: you don't type anything
