My "next coin status" has been stuck at 59% for a while
https://forum.facepunch.com/f/general/gvro/Facepunch-Awfully-White/1/ https://forum.facepunch.com/f/general/cwkg/Facepunch-Awfully-Dark-II-Even-Darker/1/ There's already two that have been worked on. (First one pretty faithfully recreates the Facepunch look we're all used to.)
Is there a Mark Unread for threads I didn't enjoy reading
I'm hopeful that someone will just create a set of tools that'll allow for the creation of themes. Stuff like the old MySpace profile tools would be pretty damn useful.
It'd be best to wait until the site's theme has been finalized to be safe but it shouldn't actually be too terribly difficult a task. Just requires someone to figure out exactly what CSS selectors each element needs and setup a way for users to easily edit them.
You should add the function where clicking on a quote takes you to the post
This has probably been suggested here before, but in case it got missed I'll speak about it. It'd be nice to see the return of Personal Messages as well as Visitor Messages. Someone else already posted about this before, can't remember who (someone will come across it eventually.) but I'm just making sure they're suggestion is seen. (I recall it was Burre who posted about it)
I don't think this rating is very easy to understand for new users
Left click then middle click
was it ever said if news node was coming back at all or in some form? SH or polidicks would miss out on some news sometimes and obviously was really the only place to browse for gaming news that werent big headliners
I might as well right click then open in a new tab
syntax highlighting of GLUA in gmod sub forums pls
It'd be cool if we got the join date, number of posts, and social links below our avatars again.
I always liked that
OMG I'M IN A PHOTO HI MAWM!
I wish you could get coins back from detracting pixels from the sides of your avatar. Now it makes buying space irreversable.
What are you using to make it look like oldpunch?
This theme.
thanks
Why does pretty much none of the formatting work in quotes?
No, that was my friend going around to all my posts and rating them that
I've only just noticed that newpunch has been changed after not paying attention for a few months, so sorry if this has been asked before, but what's the situation with the Popular Threads page on here? I can't seem to see that page anywhere on the site. It would be a major shame if that feature is going to be scrapped because that was the main way I found threads on oldpunch.
Not sure if intended but it feels wrong, the dates on here: https://forum.facepunch.com/commits/ go from right to left instead of left to right. Feels weird.
i feel like we should be able to donate coins to other people privately by clicking their profile, however donating through comments is a nice feature.
But then why would you want to do it at all, I think Coins are there as a currency that should be used only when you fell like someone has done something worth a coin. Which is why they are pretty hard to get, it gives them value.
If you are attempting coin launder, just make a generic suggestion/opinion then diamond your own post.
Depending on what you can buy with coins in the future there doesn't seem a reason to make an alt to get coins, why not just get them on your actual account. It wouldn't make any sense, it's probably easier to get them on an account that has been around for a long time anyways.
that's what im tryna say, my coin would go to code_gs for constantly helping people with their gmod problems, except what i think i was trying to say is that i'd rather send him a personal coin knowing it came from me.
Ahh okay, well you could just do it as a rating, why wouldn't you want him to know that it was you that gave him the coins (in this example). @garry Fast Threads is going towards post counts at the moment, not sure if you are aware but I checked my profile after I posted and it went up.
you misunderstood me, i do want him to know it came from me
