FFStudios: There's a little too much whitespace between posts. Also, 40 characters is painfully small for thread titles, but I'm hoping that's going to change at some point yea 100 (current limit on old FP) would be a more logical limit and it was discussed few years back, so hopefully it'll make a return here at some point. but yea there's still a lot of other stuff that's gotta be done here first so it'll probably have to wait.

Inacio: - any chance you'll allow for bigger avatars? you could do optimization if you're worried about costs. we definitely have enough room now! old newpunch was pretty great in that regard i'm pretty sure he's said the plan is you'll use coins to upgrade the size of your avatar

Sam: I think we should limit avatars. Those banner avatars and massive anime characters were annoying, even the tasteful ones were too much. 60x60 or 80x80 is all we need. 80x80 is ideal in my opinion, and please have a limit set for upgrades if you want upgrades. The banner avatars are iconic to facepunch for me, I'd love to see them be a thing in here as well. Though if we're going with plain square avatars, I agree that something like 80x80 would be good for that.

If you quote someone and hit the backspace button you can no longer access the space below the quote without either deleting everything or adding a new quote

Would be nice to get some sort of a notifications page that lets you know when somebody replied to your post, you've been awarded a coin or maybe even got rated. Kinda like a more reliable ticker you don't need to leave running in the background putting pointless load on the servers

Maybe limit the max size of embedded videos and large images. YouTube vids take up a shit ton of space

No idea if this has been said yet, but this stuff was pretty neat to have. I know we already have post location and the age of the post/reply. However, the little flags are a nice touch that I think ought' to have back (Maybe the clock next to the post time as well)

Most recent thread can be closed and deleted/MIA in the actual forum, but still visible on the home page

I would like to start off saying this seems like a modern and much better layout than we had with old fp forums. It seems more modern and cleaner than what we previously had for the forums! As for reccomendations to add on the forum I'd like to see an option that lets you have the modern look of the forums while keeping the old smilies, ratings still having their old style and the thread topics as well. I know it might seem off putting that I would complain over this, but I really do not like emojis and really prefer the olden smilies that we have on old fp right now. Apart from this being the only complaint I have right now it seems pretty good.

Overall, I really like the new functionality, the ease of formatting is awesome. The look will grow on me I think and it is definitely much more clean and sharp. I would really like to see the ratings look kind of like the Google emoticons, flat colours etc. which would match the forum aesthetic. The big black outlines are kind of... not great in my opinion, but again, they too will likely grow on me. - I tried to find an answer to this, but was unsuccessful, I've made an account with my gmail, but at some point I would like to link my existing account. Will I be able to just link my original account to this new one? Or will I have to make a new account to link my old one?

Darksoul: Is the ticker a thing of the past or will it show up at some point in the future after everything is ironed out? Far was I'm aware, its something that'll be coming along later. It's pretty requested along with stuff like read threads.

Oh and post merging will be a thing, eventually.

hey Garry, when on mobile could the WYSIWYG editor box drop down as opposed to up? android's copypaste menu has been blocking it for me

For some reason on mobile, the pages refuse to fully load. The bar goes to around 75% and then stops. Otherwise the mobile version seems really good, maybe a bit too much white space wasted on post boxes for my liking.
