diemonhei: how do i invest in your facecoin if my bank balance is negative (serious replies only please) Quit your dayjob and instead use the forums 24/7 to mine as much as possible.
A dream coming true.
Make an opt-in coinhive miner that rewards me with coins for passive facepunch mining
Man I don't even have to check the site to get coins. Is it like a constant drip feed with a multiplier based on activity?
Seems like when I check it in the morning I always have at least two more coins. And it's not like I'm posting like crazy either. So yeah I'm guessing there's just some sort of drip-feed mechanism for coins
will coins be grandfathered over from transferring to your new account? Assuming posting/join numbers count at all with counts
i hope not, you nerds need to up your activity and earn your coins like the rest of us............
indeed
100 coins should be taken for the general unbanning after they posted that cat. It will create a market ploy to have the most negative coins on the forum.
I know you will be able to purchase stuff with your coins in the future, but will there be any perks with the level system or is that just more to show how active and involved users are?
you can spend a coin by rating a post with a coin, therefore showing which posts are of high quality and which ones are made by you
A decade and 16k posts feels "earned" to me tbh. Besides, the cap seems to be 2 a day plus rating coins, it's not like many people have a significant amount anyway
you spent ten years making 16,000 posts on an internet forum and you feel like you've earned something lol maybe a break?
is the new Zing/Winner hybrid, only this time it comes at a cost so you'll know it is a truly high quality post / burn
I understand what he's getting at. While I feel somewhat sad about losing 20k posts, which do feel earned in a way, I remember that I'm here for Facepunch, its advancement, and the community. My attitude and posting won't falter just because everything is reset.
I don't know... whether it is right or wrong, seeing the post count and the join date allows me to make some kind of judgment as to who I am actually communicating with. If someone posts like 3 times a year and they are responding to something you said or posted, they likely actually care about it and put some thought into it. I suppose I am ok with it either way.
Don't know 'bout ya'll, but I'm proud of my measly 500 posts for 4 years of being on FP. I feel like having a few coins based on post count would be a nice form of compensation (Unless of course, post count and join date is migrated over when we start merging accounts.)
Moved level numbers next to the username. Feels more self explanatory that it's a level there?
that's a tiny ass level.
lol okay mr. complaining-about-grandfathering-coins lmao
does this post actually mean something in english
On mobile the quotes seem to fade from top to bottom, so you can't read them in their entirety
Turns out I'm retarded
its okay i won't tell anyone
I don't plan on migrating my account. I am content with having my join date be close to the beginning of this forum. After all, the way I see it, Oldpunch is closing down, so my account on Oldpunch is becoming defunct. Might as well make a new account and start all over again!
I considered going that route myself considering how bad Darksoul sounds. But it's what I'm known by so I'm sticking with it. I'm happy to finally get rid of the 69 on the end though...
Should be a bit bigger. Perhaps to the left of the name, as well?
I suppose you're right. I was never permanently banned on my old account and I never got into major drama, so there's no real reason why I should let it die, but honestly, I never liked my username, and I really like my new username and profile picture. Coins just don't really matter to me, and I'm sure that I'll earn a whole bunch of them as these forums pick up.
Some users don't have a level next to their name? Is it because they are still lv1?
Mate, you'll get to keep your new username when you merge. That's how it worked on oldnewpunch anyway. Also you can change your profile picture whenever you want, that's not even a proper reason.
