I may have missed it but I didn't see anything about levels on there. Are they purely for cosmetic purposes or will they also allow you to unlock stuff at a certain point in the future (I.e. how posts and join date got you gold member on old FP)?
We haven't decided that to do with levels yet, although they are here
Custom CSS sound interesting.
No plans for "Mark unread" feature for threads?
Anything new on API/Json support?
It's really difficult to read on both Changes and Events. Dark text on grey background.
And uh, both this subforum and Rust's share the same name: General Discussion. Confusing.
If we're gonna get a setting like "full width" that I'd never expect to have, can we get one for showing avatars on mobile too?
That's what I get for browsing on my phone.
That said I think it'd be nice to add in flags and devices again. It was a nice quirk old FP used to have that gave a bit more individuality to posts.
No intention on bringing flags/devices back.
The colour issues with changes/events, yeah - you're right. I'm trying to avoid doing too much with the stylesheet on this site right now. You can get an idea of how they should look from the rust site.

oh man wtf the rust site looks sexy af I wish this forum looked that good
Fixed width tho innit
I retract my previous statement, I'm biased towards that color scheme which is an unjust opinion. I'm glad we are on the superior side.
I'm going to keep bothering you about clyp.it embeds until you add them to the roadmap
Clyp is basically soundcloud but higher quality and less limits and faster and account-less.
The ones that are available now on the old forum:
- popular threads, when viewer count gets implemented
- image thumbing
- mark unread for threads
- ratings improvements (list users, and show them in proper order)
Private messaging and maybe a comment thread on user profiles would be cool.
I think I said it before already but clickable quotes to take you to the quote post would again be super handy when trying to jump into big ongoing discussions
Is there going to be a banned user forum again? cause that's also a huge help for explaining bans. idk how being banned even works atm lol, I'll have to find a test subject.
Buying emoticons for the forum is a great idea, tho will the rest of the FP emoticons be getting ported over at some point?
For the new report system, will you allow for users to type in the report instead of the current FP system of choosing from a few options? Typed reports are usually better tbh, especially for drama that's not totally obvious just from a post.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
