Its blowing up rapidly atm, pretty worrying that its basically destroying our trust with the russians again, but if it was them then they can go fuck themselves.

Oh no I think I broke my avatar background thing help
Mildly off topic but do animated avatars not work or do they need a different kind of set up? Had to resize my old one (it's still a .gif) but it's not animated...
wow you really fucked that one up
I don't know, it's got kind of an arty feel to it.
I miss the Read Threads button, bring it back.
Garry thinks it goes against forum culture iirc by not forcing you to go through subforms etc and interact with more than just a few chat threads. That said you can follow this thread in the top right and you'll get notifications when people post.
Same deal with popular threads I guess or am I just blind?
Yeah. I do really miss popular threads it was a great way to quickly check what was essentially good and active threads at that time as opposed to having to wade through several pages to get to the good stuff. Forum culture!
Those bastards at the Three Sisters are really laying it on thick tonight. I got class in the morning and I'm fucked.
ayup lads new site and all that
So apparently The Beast from the East 2: Electric Boogaloo is going to hit us? Cant it wait till next year or something? Okay, fine. At least make it so i can't make it to work this time.
I read it wasn't gonna be as bad this time round, London is getting the worst of it. Up in the North East, it's not gonna drop below 0c AFAIK
welcome to the future cunts
It does seem to be an English thing this second storm. Have fun with that.
Good point, I feel like the new Andy Warhol
I just had an argument with a senior manager at work. Our office has been leaking so people have to work from home. He had me in his office, to explain why another senior manager didn't know about, I didn't know it was my job to inform his peers of what's happening. He always has that tone that implies you've done wrong. Some of our staff are on zero contracts (which is bullshit). I'm more concerned about them being paid than the client being inconvenienced by having their report delayed for a few days. He said that's not how business works and basically the zero hours guys knew it was zero hours. I said that's a shitty view and that I care more of shit about my staff than a company that had $10 billion in revenue last year. Just such a shitty way of looking at people. Some people don't know they're born, I don't think he'sw workedan hourly wage job in his life And it was him who first circulated the emails about working from home in the first place, but the opinion of our staff is what really fucked me off
Britain First leader Paul Golding beaten up in HMP Elmley It hasn't even been a couple of days since he entered prison and he's already getting jumped by inmates.
And no tears were wept, poor fella.
I'd change my name but for whatever reason I don't have enough coins for it, and my postcount is pretty much nill. What will I tell the lady's at the bar about my internet points?
Its been raining for the past 5 days and apparently its gonna snow in the weekend. Can this weather just calm down for a bit.
Mate, it's borderline shorts weather down south yet it's still meant to be snowing tomorrow.
I say we have a second referendum to make sure we all want to leave Oldpunch before we commit to anything.
So this was right before Oldpunch was torn asunder, so I'm not sure if anyone saw it so I'll put it out again. If any FP'ers in Edinburgh want to meet, hit me up. Never done a meetup before 'cause I live in bumfuck Egypt back in the states, so I figure now would be a good opportunity.
Marmite tends to keep me alive during my illness episodes.
I'm genuinely bored of the cold now.
I live in Paisley but wouldn't mind getting the train up if anyone else is down?
