If you can login to that account, I believe there's an option to unlink that account from the service. Might have just been a suggestion though so I don't know

Did I fuck up my ability to move my old account over by picking the same username or am I misreading the "please note that your new account will NOT adopt your old name" text? I'm getting the "couldn't find user or password wrong" message on the screen. I don't mind not having my posts migrated since I only had a thousand or so after a lot were deleted, but I take it I might banned if I try making a second account here to merge my old one?

Those convicts got a second chance at forum life. Some of them even got unbanned so they can migrate their old account over. You can't migrate a banned account.
Mods made a few special exceptions for users, I think.
My main account with 6k posts and a 10 year existence got toxx banned, who would I need to talk to?

I don't think the migration should've happened with the mobile support in this state. I use Facepunch mostly entirely on mobile, and it's pretty much unusuable. Old punch was great for mobile.
