petscop is absolutely fantastic. it recreates the feeling of a ps1 game so, so well, with all of the quirks. and it's so... out there.
i love it for its weird, disjointed, kind of sensible in a roundabout way storytelling and world. you don't so much as get explanations or answers, its more like it uses more and more questions to build the story. people rip on movies and tv shows for that kind of thing but the way it's executed here makes me relate it more to depth, and this fucking series is like the marianas trench to me.
i want to know how he's filming it, what is the stage here? he can't be scripting an emulator... can he? is it 3ds max?
Out of curiosity, is this supposed to be for something, or is it just its own art piece?
The game might be running on Unity with some old school filters over it since I've heard some people point out that some of the graphical shit in Petscop wouldn't be possible on an actual PS1 game.
boredom
Oh man, that brings me back. How old is that comic at this point?
Also, have this without the jpeg?
It's just a well made fake PS1 game running in some modern game engine.
I like how unimpressed everyone looks
'Oh look a the giant skeleton, huh'
Can I borrow some milk?
I really love the ambience of Dead Money. Those nuclear-warning sirens have been working non-stop for over 200 years.

Scary floaty things, you say?

Some pretty eerie coincidences (also not related to anime/manga of the same name)
A previous post made me remember how trippy and surreal Stephen Gammell's art can be. Wish more art was like this.

On one hand, FUCK yes sticking true to some talented and macabre imagery for a possible disgusting yet psychedelic film. On the other hand, FUCK no I'm going to be scared as shit throughout the whole movie. You can bet I'll bring the brown pants for both the movie AND the announcement trai-
2019
Shit.
2019 is only a few months away
Yeah but that could mean 2019 in January in the block of shitty movies or 2019 in October for next Halloween it Del Toro knows when the time is right.
I don't know if this was posted before in a previous thread but apparently that one Uno Moralez comic (NSFW Maybe?) got made into a short film a few years back:

That was err... something I guess
I assume the guy in second segment and the guy he witnesses' dying are supposed to be the 2 kids from the first segment?
And then the third segment is just there to... remind us that kids can be spooky?
Anybody have a link for that 5:45 comic? Seems interesting, but I can't find it anywhere.
It's linked above the video just a couple posts up.
Here it is, again, though.
Oh shit, I never thought those noises where nuclear warning sirens
That's cool as fuck.
Requesting that old video where I think it's a tornado warning siren blaring over a foggy city
Sirens screeching across an empty city is so fucking evil sounding

In the same vein, I found this video in my favorites but don't remember the context to it. It's also unlisted for some reason

While there are no sirens, I think you'll love this piece. If you don't know Russian, I highly recommend watching without subtitles for the first time for extra feeling of unknown creepiness.

You're right, I LOVE IT
