Something about this new site uses a LOT of GPU power, it seems. My laptop's old Sandy Bridge Intel HD Graphics isn't taking kindly to it.
Probably because it's an integrated graphics card on an old laptop...? It barely peaks 1.8% GPU usage on my 970.

all the stark white could do with some softening and maybe a little more contrast. have a mild hangover and going five pages was fuckin brutal.
It never stutters while scrolling on any other website I've encountered. It's something wrong with newpunch.
Enable hardware acceleration
If it bothers you that much, make a palette override. Personally don't think its that bad, the colours are more toned down compared to the ones used on oldpunch.
Actually think Garry pulled this palette from the 09 style because its very close.
The colors aren't that bad but I'm fairly sure I would go blind if my brightness wasn't down
I think it's mostly just due to the fact that oldpunch uses dark gray borders in the posts and now everything is either white or light gray. There's literally far less contrast in this version which makes it feel extremely bright.

New design looks great. I prefer light themes over dark but I don't tend to get eye strain when tired looking at bright white. Really like the faded background images.
It's really just the new posts that are a bit much. everything else looks great.
Am I missing something or is there no way to go from page 1 to something like page 112? I can't seem to find any way to do so in or out of the thread.
hmmmm I just spent 20 coins to add a background and it was an image 256x512 and was a jpg but it doesn't seem to have done anything. RIP my coins why didn't it work.

On the thread listing, I would really like to see Avatars show up next to a thread author (or recent poster) like the previous version of NewPunch did.
I think the design would look a lot less washed out if the text was actually black and some of the lines and borders were darker.
If I have Gold in the Forum (20$ Donation) do I need to pay 200coins here to get Gold aswell? Or why did I donate 20$ in the old forum?

Could the clickable area for viewing who gave ratings be expanded? Having to click directly on a small number (especially with a touchpad) is a bit strange.
