I'll even your statement out by being anti-spoiled. I own a first generation ipod mini. The wheel sometimes doesn't register, and the battery needs to be replaced. My parents purchased me the latest generation ipod touch. I don't like it because it's something someone would want to steal, and has wifi access. If I use it I have to worry about dropping it, as opposed to my old one where I'd slide it off tables to show it's toughness.
