Penny-Arcade has been really really boring lately. It's either some off-story that they are doing, or it's just Gabe and Tycho engaging in mildly funny conversations that doesn't really lead into any great punchlines.

Because they don't care, and school pushes people through with very minimal testing of knowledge. Also that seems to be a kid so they might not have covered the American Civil War yet.
