Oh and for a while I'd run around smashing people and killing people in the coolest possible ways..I mean hey..I'm not gonna get in trouble..and I'm not gonna unpause..so...why not
If I could stop time I would do it at the exact moment two people on bikes are about to pass each other.
I would swap their bikes and then start the time again.
Then I would be like lol
well, I'd take money and shit, scream YATAAAA! and if it worked just like Hiro's power, I'd wait for this girl i like to have a bad day at work, and just freeze time with her.
I would steal the diary of everyone who I know who has a diary and see how they all interacted with each other in the past as if it were a soap opera of some kind. Assuming I don't age when time is stopped of course.

I would...check the boobs of all the girls I like, rob a cake, rob a shitload of Coke, put a tac on my teachers chair, kick all the dudes I hate 6 times in the nuts, walk into a girls locker room just for curiosities sake...
