I had all four wisdom teeth pulled the same day and was put under General Anesthesia. So it was over in a blink for me. Bad thing is that you wake up high as fuck. I had to be carried to the car by the surgeon and my dad.
Since I needed four adult molars removed for my braces, my wisdom teeth are growing in pretty fine. I don't think I'll ever need the surgery to remove them.
Upper wisdom teeth are piss easy to remove. A couple stabs of anesthetic, two minutes of wiggling and it just pops out. Got mine removed a few months ago and it didn't hurt during the procedure, or after. Took one painkiller when the numbing wore off just to be sure, but after that there was no need to. Jaw was obviously hard to open for a day or so but other than that, no problem.
Just watch out for dry socket, especially if it was your lower wisdom tooth that got removed. Google it or prepare to feel indescribable pain.
Try not to lick your stitches, it'll drive you nuts.
Also, invest in a Waterpik

wait, this isn't the root canal thread.
My wisdom teeth are coming in perfectly next to my molars, guess I'm lucky.
I feel somewhat better about having to get mine removed a few months from now. Going to be a hellish time considering I am not a huge fan of having to get dental work done but better than having those suckers fighting for space in my mouth.

Looks expensive, why not just use a syringe, fill it with some warm salt water, and shoot it into the sockets. It's really not that bad and it's better than spending money on a machine to do it for you that you'll probably only use for a month at the most.

This isn't my X-ray, but this is what both my bottom teeth were doing. Pretty much completely horizontal.

My top ones were more diagonal.

I guess my bottom two Wisdom teeth is an uncommon way for them to come in, Wikipedia says only 3% of wisdom teeth come in like that.

Well I got it originally for when I got my braces, cause flossing is a bitch. It's dead useful though.
Wouldn't sraying water in the holes remove the blood clot? Sounds a bit risky.
