[QUOTE=Pascall;23863144]Yes I have. For the past few weeks now I've been coughing. Remember back when I was REALLY sick and couldn't even talk? That was about three weeks ago and I haven't stopped coughing. It's probably from the allergens in the air around here. They never go away. But that was another guess of mine that the pain is just from a violent cough that I had at some point today. But I can't be suuure. That's what's making me angry.[/QUOTE] oh yeah, now I remember. by and chance you have a post nasal drip?
[QUOTE=Makol;23863126]that's called ghost/phantom pain.[/QUOTE] Spooky.
Almost all of the time. Except now. It's just a dry cough. But now that I feel my ribs a bit right under my chest, they're a bit tender.. Not every time I touched them but.. they are. I'm starting to think I did strain myself somehow. [editline]12:36AM[/editline] I feel discomfort around my shoulder blades now too. Wut
[QUOTE=TheBrokenHobo;23863118]Reminds me of that experiment where you have a rubber arm over your actual arm positioned so it looks like it's your arm from your view, then you have someone stroke your arm and the rubber one for a bit, then they stab the rubber one with a knife and it fells like your actual arm was stabbed.[/QUOTE] Whaaaaaaaaat

[editline]10:38PM[/editline] if you can stop the cough it will be easier to tell if it was causing the chest/rib pain.
Probably. Coughing for three straight weeks is not good. But even if I go overnight without doing anything, I should be fine in that case. [editline]12:39AM[/editline] I'm still wondering why my shoulder blades are twinging though. It hurts.
yea, now I'm sure it's muscle irritation.
I guess I'll head to bed now and tell my mom to take me to the doctor tomorrow. See what he can give me for it. Thanks Makol, I'm a little less freaked now.
shoulder blade pain could be muscle spasm/twitch. [editline]10:41PM[/editline] I get that.
