Diet soda isn't as syrupy as regular soda so I do prefer it over regular soda. I too feel addicted.

Sierra Mist, that shit has actual sugar in it.....mmm.... either that or an ice cold cup of milk. Sometimes I put the cup I poured in the freezer for a few minutes on a hot day.

Aside from that, I like brewing my own iced tea, tastes much better.
