Amphetamine is in Adderall and many other ADD medications.
[i]Meth[/i]amphetamine is a crystalline substance.
Adderall is made up of a carbon ring, then 4 carbons in a chain attached, with an alkyl group on the 2nd last carbon.
If you added an extra carbon (with 3 hydrogens attached, a methyl group), to the end of that chain, it would be methamphetamine.
