Yes, format it and physically clean it, like cleaning the air vents and the fan if you can. Compressed air is good for that, in some cases at least.

I have an ingrowing toenail. I've had it for a year. Every time I went to the doctors, it was infected. They gave me drugs to stop infection, drugs work, by the time the next doctors appointment comes around it's infected again. I have to walk around constantly with the pain of something worse than a stubbed toe. This gets me pretty mad.

I had a badly ingrown toenail like that. To fix it I had some surgery, and now I don't get them anymore.

As much as I love Borderlands 2 and Gearbox for being (mostly) nice to their fanbase and actually listening, using the money provided by Sega to fund it just seems like a real bad move. It sounds almost too good to be true. Where did you hear it?
