I never insult when speaking to him. I always ask why he's upset with me by simple asking "Why are you upset with me" and not "U mad bro?!?!?!" or any other bullshit like that. He is probably the hardest person to make friends with, I try hanging out with him but it's near impossible to like him. If they cut corners and bought hardware that wasn't the most expensive they could possibly find and ditched hardware that was completely unnecessary they could have made it so much better and saved some money.
Seriously, they got a 2011 i7, which in itself is a fantastic CPU but it isn't needed for playing games and it's about $150 more than something like the i5 3570k. They bought an $80 aftermarket cooler that's xbox hueg when they could have gotten a simple $20 aftermarket cooler, and more importantly the i7 in question was not a -k, meaning it can't be overclocked to the same level as k CPUs, making that gigantic cooler totally pointless.
16 GB of RAM is also pointless because no game uses more than 3GB or 4GB. Plus, the RAM they got is dual channel, and they got a quad channel motherboard (meaning the RAM won't operate anywhere nearly as fast as quad channel RAM).
If they ditched some of that pointless shit they'd have had at least $300 to spend, and that could have gotten another 680, and they could have SLI'd that shit and it would be a genuinely good gaming PC that will last quite a long time.
