Seriously, they got a 2011 i7, which in itself is a fantastic CPU but it isn't needed for playing games and it's about $150 more than something like the i5 3570k. They bought an $80 aftermarket cooler that's xbox hueg when they could have gotten a simple $20 aftermarket cooler, and more importantly the i7 in question was not a -k, meaning it can't be overclocked to the same level as k CPUs, making that gigantic cooler totally pointless.
16 GB of RAM is also pointless because no game uses more than 3GB or 4GB. Plus, the RAM they got is dual channel, and they got a quad channel motherboard (meaning the RAM won't operate anywhere nearly as fast as quad channel RAM).
If they ditched some of that pointless shit they'd have had at least $300 to spend, and that could have gotten another 680, and they could have SLI'd that shit and it would be a genuinely good gaming PC that will last quite a long time.[/QUOTE]

Along with an HIS ATI 7850 1GB
and 12gb system ram
And I get like 60+ FPS on Crysis 3 on High settings at a res of 1920x1080
I can play it maxed out but it'll stay within the 35-50 FPS Range
I don't think anyone will need a complete monster of a PC to be able to play Cry3

This actually isn't too far off from what I experience everytime I pick up my 3DS. I'm one of the most unluckiest people when it comes to videogames, and that in all honesty isn't a stretch. Whether it comes from percentages or artificial difficulty, you better believe that I'm destined to fail.

2: I got hit by an attack with 70% accuracy.
3: That attack scored a critical hit.
Collectively, that is a 0.0009375% chance of failure. And boy, you better believe I failed!

This guy who I thought was my friend, or at least didn't dislike me, decided to be a total ass at work and the only reason he didn't get his ass beat was because there were customers around. I was talking with a friend about her joining the National Guard and was going to be deployed in a year. I jokingly said I was too fat and lazy to join any military branch, and he just says "yeah we've noticed." Not even in a joking manner, like laughing about it, just straight faced. He proceeded to do this almost every time I made some joke at my own expense, and tried to jump in and play superman if I ever got more than a few piles of dishes to do at once. Just go fuck off somewhere else, please.
