maybe if you were on dialup if one person lagged it would lag everyone
not on anything passed dial up, it's a stupid plugin and whoever made it should probably think again

From experience in an MW3 server [from that one community I was banned from] if you toss someone with 300 ping into a server [or two, or people with 200 ping] it will lag EVERYONE. I've seen it in action, and people start teleporting after a while. It also lags the server a tad bit because it takes longer to respond AFAIK.

They do. The player with high latency gets fucked because he loses packages to the server I believe. Not sure though.

The server gets confused and shit is about all I remember. Also lag compensation in some games [cough cough CoD] spreads the lag out evenly to make it seem like the player with high ping is lagging as little as possible. So in essence it's spreading your high ping to everyone else.
I've been playing with 200-300 ping for years and never found any sort of lag at all
Maybe CoD is just really fucking poorly made, I have no idea
The fact that I can't seem to be honestly happy. I'm happy when playing guitar or something, but its always at night when I'm laying down and I think about how unhappy I am, new town, no friends, no job, feel useless all the time, etc. I hate it.

People put those paper things over the rubber band but they use fucking cardboard. It stings so fucking much. Whenever i try to do it the rubber band snaps or the paper flips in the air and stops.

About third grade, somebody invented [I]'The Hornet'[/I]
Basically it's a piece of aluminium foil in a barb sharp and with a strong enough band you can break skin. Fuck it hurts.
So, I was putting together a computer build on cyberpowerpc. I originally was planning on buying parts from newegg.com and building a computer, but it ended up being over my budget. Turns out I can get an i7 instead of an i5 AND a slighty better GPU cheaper than on newegg.
But they don't accept PayPal. God damn it, that's the only way I could of payed them. I don't have a credit card, and I don't think they sell 1.5k Visa gift cards. You guys wouldn't happen to have any advice or a way to get around this would you?

we used to but the rubberbands inside springs, if you flicked someone with that it would break skin 100 percent of the time, fuck I loved highschool :v:

400 ping and no noticeable differences, people are just overreacting or totally full of shit
I start noticing it being harder at 100ms+ I normally always have less than 100 ping
All the good servers are hosted halfway across the world
I could maybe go to an Australian server, they are usually empty/crap though

I live in new zealand and have never had a problem finding good servers where my ping is less than 100, Its less than 100 on australian servers as well as nz ones :v:
I try not to go on servers with ping over 80.
Is there any chart about relation of server ping and your internet speed, and which latency it would give you? That'd be useful.
I just got news that my grandmother (who is over 80 years old) has breast cancer.

I think you should just contact them, I don't think it's a big deal.
So, today I was moving my modem + phone to another location of my room.
"No biggie" I thought, after being done I felt like I could kill a small group of children and cut then into slices.

But after like 10-15 mins I finally made it, and I now no longer need to have my modem in the middle of the door-opening :D
