I have a friend like that in real life. If I call him out on it he will fight us to death on it and will start making up random facts. The sad part is that even if I'm 100% sure he's wrong by the end of the argument I start to believe him because hes so sure about it and I start to doubt myself.

Building computers is way easier than you probably think. About picking parts, there's people in the hardware section that would be glad to help you.

If you already have a decent monitor and other peripherals, you won't need to spend that much in order to build an excellent machine.

Depends on the price bracket you're looking in. Overall though I'm still an advocate for picking out all of the parts you want to use.

I get those moments where I can't read English for a few minutes or even hours.
I'm able to understand German and Icelandic fine though, just not English often.
I was kinda making a joke but now that response has made me feel bad about making light of the situations, Maybe if you tried reading an english book? maybe something that is light reading like a discworld book might help? or even a collection of short stories?

For starters I was born in Iceland.
But grew up the rest of the time in England in 1999 and now I have the ability to speak English natively. This has happened before but I'm slowly getting better.
How clueless some of the retro game store employees around here are. the one that's closest to my house has a shitty inventory, but the people that work there are all pretty cool. the one that's second closest is full of clueless fucks.

(FF3 on SNES was actually Final Fantasy 6, the others didn't make it over here to America from Japan, so instead of making it go: 1, 2, 6, 7... they made it 1, 2, 3, 7 (Eventually the others were released on handhelds and whatnot here in America.)

Why do people who work at a game store have to know every single random fact about retro games? The average person won't need to know that info when they go to buy a game.
It's hard to talk to people, especially when they talk to me, I tend to cringe up a bit, not knowing what to say. I dunno what causes this, but I wish I could stop it. It's not easy to control it, especially if you've known that person for years, yet you still find it hard to talk to them. I've found it easier to talk to people online, but it's worse if I talk offline
