I’m working volunteer in retail to get experience and references for my CV to help me get a job and I don’t know why, but there is one part of my working day I really hate, and there are parts I should hate, but I just get on with them.
I’m the only guy there all day (There are two that do deliveries) so I’m the one that has to lug the heavy shit from one side of the store to the other, help the customers load shit they brought and other long, mundane and frequent manual labour bullshittery.
I’m fine with this.
I’m lugging this shit around and customers just walk in my way for the sake of it, or they try and ask me shit about prices and if something is for sale when I don’t handle the sales and such, and the customers don’t even think of asking the other employees who do actually handle such things.
I get on with what I’m doing without complaint.
I work seven hours a day, four days a week, when most people work an hour or two, once or twice a week; Even then they do almost jack all when they are there. For example one woman does in Two hours what I do in two minutes.
Fuck it, they ain’t my problem.
What does annoy me? At the end of the day when I’m walking home, and there is always an old woman who walks in a fucking zig-zag when I try and get around them. I have to walk on the road to get around them. They go so slow, and seem to have a sixth sense to when I want to get past so I can walk at a speed that doesn’t feel like I’m standing still. It infuriates me so much.
Why are so many things disappearing on this computer

and now I can't tell if caps lock is on or off because the little screen popup doesn't come up anymore

Fellow Texan here, around the Houston area. It only just started warming up for us. Being in a relationship with a Canadian is a bit silly because I can't bitch about the cold without being told about how it's 7F or less over there. I just can't wait until it goes full on 100F here, then my mate won't be able to say shit against my temperature woes.
At least down here, we get snow once in a few years, and it's only enough to make one-snowball and call it a day.

There's having a voice and then there's being passively aggressive about the whole situation. People have issues, understandable. People don't need to paste their lives all over a thread and whip up a frenzy of sensationalism about a situation that they themselves help aggravate. Your justification is that you can't do anything to better your life. Nonsense, you haven't looked hard enough or tried hard enough.
I know people who have suffered worse emotional and physical abuse who troop on with life, look back and laugh and move on with their life.
