I disagree with the conception of using "laziness" as an explanation for such things. From my viewpoint, laziness is not only a blanket term, but also never originating from itself, there are always other reasons for "laziness" to exist, whether it be stress, incompatible attitude, possible negative labor experiences, etc.
Even if genuine laziness does exist in some form, it is probably significantly more rare than people make it out to be, or is a secondary problem when compared to things that give people actual problems with success.

Being obnoxious about a fandom would not have been a problem if it was given a similar treatment to trolling, the obnoxious attempts for attention naturally extinguish themselves if ignored. This may sound pathetic but I was looking through some of my old posts and it hit me a lot harder than I thought it would. It's just been two years here but there's so many memories that I remember from so far back, all those terrible posts I've made and jokes I've made.
It used to be an adventure back then, exploring the different sub-sections and finding new threads. But now I've found myself in a routine, going to the same few threads and skimming through SH etc. I posted very rarely when I first joined, but many of those posts were memorable to me. I don't really have any memories of what I posted in the last few months. I have no idea where I'm going with this post, but it's just sad for me I guess.
