Yeah but you could just find them in a closet somewhere, and it takes a while to die.

Realism on a harder difficulty. Sure, you still respawn in safehouses, but you could always go the route of killing the teammate who died last round :v:
I was thinking of an RPG-style game that plays similarly to Fallout/Elder Scrolls where you can freely alternate between 3 versions of gameplay. First being the usual FPS/TPS schtick, only you can change your perspective from your player to followers in your party (or even create other player characters to use in the same world), the 2nd allowing you to control your character and his followers from a top-down perspective in a RTS Mode, and the third being similar to the 2nd, only it plays with a turn-based system like XCOM.
Also, you can seamlessly alternate between these modes during gameplay, so you can easily blend the typical shoot/slash em up with bonus tactical gameplay in the same boat. Probably difficult to pull off, but otherwise I dont see why no one has really tried this yet. (And games that kinda did like Men of War didnt exactly do it for me).
Painkiller but with more bosses, more levels, more retarded weapons, more skeletons, and for god's sake no story line, just let me fuck shit up.
that or [sp] Stalker 2[/sp]
A regular Fallout game, but the thing about it is the intro, where you get to play as a random American on the day the bombs fell, and see first hand the end of the world.
Imagine EVE Online nullsec in the setting of Mad Max, with most of the gameplay taking place like how it did in the movies, by huge road-wars between roving gangs of survivors. Complexity of combat would be similar to ARMA and mainly FPS and third person in vehicles (optional). No bullshit like skills or a subscription, though. Law would have to be administered by the player-made factions, making things like trade, logistics, etc. serious issues. Isk is now petrol. There'd be a few areas that the playerbased factions could set up fortresses or even towns, but if you're wanting to be a carebear you're still gonna have to make deals with the local warlord and his thugs. Scale of battle won't be quite like EVE, considering most of the combat is either going to be sieges or skirmishes on roads. Battles would take place in the desert, with armies of raiders clashing in the hot sand.
Project Reality on a Planetside 2 scale.

That sounds awesome!
If anyone's heard of a game called 'Chaos overlords', i'd love to see a remake of that, only with a procedural, isometric city, greater micromanaging and combat features and short, company-of-heroes style rounds of combat using your goons (instead of it being computer-determined)
that alone would be awesome, but if it were rendered in a jet-set radio/ King City graffiti artstyle, it'd kick ass.
Probably something like spore except not a kiddie game/realistic/not casualized, with each stage being a full fledged high quality game of its genre. Space being an amazing dynamic strategy game, civ being like the game civilization, creature/cell stages actually being realistic and more of an evolution simulator than a kiddy game, etc.
a game featuring the Vocaloids, it should be a 3d hack and slash ish game with a bit of Zombie survival.
You start off as Miku, you have just performed at a con and you want to look around at the interesting stuff around you when you are being attacked by a group of weeaboos, how do you defend yourself? Well there's a white closet similar to those in Kill La Kill that grants you powers (yes, it will be overflowing with references to anime manga and otaku culture, good that you noticed. The outfits should be too.)
Apart from the standard Attack, Defence, Magic, and such you also have an affection meter.
The affection meter decides how "attracted" certain weeaboos are to you.
Something like that which could get more story and shit later on

Another one I owuld like to have would be a game where the bosses and bigger enemies are people from English comedy shows.
A game that can be anything, but that must have multiplayer and Postal 2 peeing
A game that's basically Mass Effect + Earth Defense Force + Loadout. I can't be the only person here who wants to fight a Reaper on foot with a flamethrower sniper rifle.
A real life game, you live a normal life. It sounds so boring but at the same time, weirdly fun.
Oh yea, and "Blind Simulator 2015".
SMART OPPONENTS.
If they flank you, retreat when wounded and use suppressive fire at you, that's truly interesting combat, forcing usage of intelligence and placement over good aim.
There are two that I have in mind:
1) A Racing MMO that takes place in three different stages, the City, the Highway and the Mountain. Basically like Need for Speed Underground meets Initial D meets Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4(Cool game, check it out) Each stage is dominated by a "King" or Boss that has the most challenging AI programmed.
City Stage: A Dodge Charger like Dom's Charger in F&F
Highway Stage: Devil Z (S30Z) or Blackbird (RUF Yellowbird)
Mountain Stage: Tofu Delivery AE86 (Initial D)
Players can form crews and enter street races by either:
1) Initiating a race by flashing his or her headlights behind the car he or she wants to race against.
2) Planned race that has been planned in forums, real life etc.
3) Pre-made race
2) A remake of the scrapped Team Fortress 2: Brotherhood of Arms. There are still 9 classes, but with slightly different name. Think of it as Battlefield(without the LENS FLARE and bad hit detection) meet Day of Defeat.
Field Scout: Fastest, able to remove Spy's disguise and defuse Demoman's time bomb. Able to jump twice as far if running at full speed.
Marine: Jack-of-all-trade, good for both Offense and Defence. When more than one Marine is together, the Morale system will kicks in, players will aim better and absorb less damage.
Flametrooper: Immune to fire based damage due to fireproof suit.
Demoman: Able to set C4, time bomb and mines.
Heavy Assualt: Self explanatory
Engineer: Able to construct sentry guns, ammo cache and mounted gun.
Combat Medic: Able to heal teammates with Medkit or give them temporary painkiller for a short period of time.
Rifleman: The sniper of the class.
Spy: Able to take enemy disguise, sabotage sentry guns and remove enemy Spy disguise. Played in third person.
Map will be huge like Battlefield's Siege of Shanghai huge and destructive environments. Vehicles like tanks, boats, helicopters and jeeps are present. Max player count of 74-128.
A game similar to Guns of Icarus, but in a personal sci-fi world created by myself, with the ability to board and exit ships and engage in FPS combat. Also with a robust custom class creation system with perks or "talents" if you will in trees you can unlock by using specific weapons or equipment. There would also be a heavy RTS element to it, having a commander that can call down structures and special abilities (there was a HL2 mod like this years ago).
Or EVE Online but with FPS combat (boo Dust 514).
A fixed up (Graphically and gameplay wise) Mount and blade Napoleonic wars.
OR
A new Rise of Nations esque RTS.
A 2D Ed Edd n Eddy RPG game similiar to paper mario, with the sound effects for the battle, and the same art style and animation
Skyrim + WW2 + Coop + A really large map + Modding support. And my life would be complete.
I have officially gotten my idea for my next game from this thread.
Thanks guys.

which idea did you pick

We'll team up. We think of an idea, pass to the other, get it shot down in flames, fling abuse about who pays the rent, repeat.
Bit late but none the less, Reamde.
I want another Silent Hill 2/3.
My dream game would be about werewolves and vampires.
You're a scientists who's been researching about them. If you're infected with both of the creatures then you die. You get bit by a vampire and scratched by a werewolf. You go back to your lab and there's two cures. You'll overdose if you take both and you'll die if you don't take any. So you pick -blue (cures werewolf) or red (cures vampire). Then the story revolves around that. Set in a day like this but looks old. Open world and third person. And there's always two ending with each creature. 2 for werewolf and two for vampire. And you unlock moves and power Ups on the way
The most in-depth grand strategy game ever. It would literally be Crusader Kings+Simcity+Sims+Automation. Make a country, it's infrastructure, the vehicles made by their companies, clothes etc. Basically a literal "god game"
Croc 3.
My dream game is one with 90's cartoon art style, co-op, dynamic story (first and second choice each make the story go in different directions) and a big, open world.
