A racing simulator with a track editor a la modnation racers.
A tie between: A Tales game on the PC, provided that the port isn't godawful. FFXV on PC A grand theft auto game that's as messy as Brutal Doom.
Red Faction Guerrilla + GTA:IV
Fallout setting and rpg elements with stalker inventory system and survival, and metro gun play and stealth.
or pretty much most of Metro's gameplay elements, with STALKER's setting, inventory, and atmosphere.
An Adventure Time game on the scale of a Zelda title. Complete with dialogue and writing complying to the show's verisimilitude. Oh, and a story driven FPS RPG starring Winston Churchill as the sexy, time-traveling protagonist battling the Elder Gods. It's going to have a ludicrous difficulty curve and overwhelming interface. Intensely challenging to pick-up... but SOOOooo rewarding.
A game with the crazyness of Saints row 4, a world as big as the one from just cause 2 (or Guild wars Nightfall (15000 Kilometers squared)), map editor, online mode, with zombies, occulus rift support (Nausea incoming), and nice story and gameplay.
If you could dream up the perfect video game what would it be? Would you build a game from scratch or take elements from other games to make it? Would you make a Mass Effect style game with characters and a storyline from the G.I. Joe universe, or would you want something like a Zorro video game with sword fighting built on the Arkham Asylum/City fighting enginge, etc?
I'd probably say a sort of co-op RPG with mini-campaigns that can be completed in about an hour, sort of like Elder Sign or Arkham Horror only with online multiplayer and with more refined mechanics than rolling the dice. You'd be able to acquire equipment and spells, level up skills by investing skill-points, make proper investigations in the 3D point-and-click style, be able to fight or sneak around enemy encounters, fight to prevent the emergence of an Old One, that kind of stuff. Players would be able to choose their species, their proficiencies in various disciplines, and additional traits according to the location and the Old One they are up against. Each player-character would go to a chosen encounter to confront monsters, solve mysteries, perform rituals or experiments, all to do the things needed to delay the Old One until dawn, when the Eye of Nodens has gathered enough power to make the Old One flee in terror back to the Abyss from whence it came. There would also be a mode wherein a 5th player could play the "Herald" who co-ordinates efforts to bring the Old One into our world, summoning minions and casting spells to impede the efforts of the Investigators. Multi-session campaigns would also be a thing for folks who play together often, carrying over levels and equipment from the previous session to fight a greater threat.
a space game where the goal is to make enough money to pay for fuel and repairs, and eat. the rest is whatever. it'll also need plenty of stuff to do on the planets and stations and stuff.
The only thing I want in my dream vidya is an open world third person action game with very weighty but speedy movement and parkour
