Watched 6 episodes of Last Exile. Well, not off to a very interesting start. Fuckloads of bad 3D animation up in this bitch. Girl is a whiney selfish bitch. Boy is a typical Power of Love character that does whatever he feels is right and does the impossible just because that's the right thing to do. I dislike how we're just thrown into this world without any explanations of it's technology and evolution. It's so annoying when they mix futuristic-ish stuff with old stuff and just leave it at that, no reason for it, some things are more fictional, other things are like year 1700. Neither bad nor good so far. Just, eh.

In writing form: If it has a lot of complicated characters, it's most likely Chinese If it has some complex characters and a lot of simple ones, it's Japanese If it has characters with circles, it's Korean

I mean, Mandrin Chinese is just so hard to learn with all those kanji and such. Seriously, how does anyone learn that? It's pretty much hieroglyphics. At least Japanese has an alphabet.

Just because it's a family language (a group name for lots of different languages) and the actual languages have different names they're still Chinese languages, so they all speak Chinese. Chinese Mandarin is Chinese.
