Oh how late.
Half way done with the last episode of Eureka 7.
[editline]8th February 2011[/editline]
Finished Eureka 7, it was nice, though episodes 43-47 were ridiculously slow that I took a week to watch those episodes.
but it was a good show.
u watche slowe
u watche slowe
Yes, yes.
I watch only a few episode a day, on weekends its usually about 10 episodes a day.
But since I was sick from school today (threw up in the mornin') I spent about 6 hours straight Marathoning.
I finished Sora no Otoshimono and S2
I'm rather looking forward to the movie.
lol

Oh my god, Rosa's crowning moment of awesome really is awesome
Edit: I really wish I'd made a save when this scene started.

When you finish the episode, you're allowed to skip between chapters in it. So you could technically go to the chapter and hold Ctrl until you get the exact moment.

Good point, thanks for reminding me
Ugh, tea party 2 - that's the price of her resistance?
[sp] Also, the epitaph, how much I've figured out at this stage is this: "My beloved hometown" is Rokkenjima island, and the "bountiful river flowing through it" is Kinzo's descendants. Following this river downstream leads us to Maria, the youngest (but still born before he had the epitaph created). Maria, who has a kanji character that means village in it (Therefore being the village in the lines of the epitaph). Then if we consider that one character in the centre of her name as the 'river', then one of the characters on it's "shore" looks like the christian cross. Which, I believe, leads us to the Forbidden Chapel. So the gold is probably emplaced somewhere in/below the chapel. I think. Speculation at this stage. Especially, as I've never learned kanji, as I don't know what the first character in Maria's name could mean, as it could make/break this hypothesis[/sp]

I'm not going to say anything at this stage, but I'm impressed. Unless you want me to tell you if you're right or not.

That arc was so awesome. The way that guy just broke Kouga into such a mess.

I broke the mind of a close friend by figuring out Higurashi by the third arc (^.^)
And, I'm not sure, I figure these questions won't be answered until Episodes 5 - 8, which I won't be buying until Witch Hunt has finished translating 8. Although, guessing from your comment about being impressed, I'm on the right track. Oh, there was one other thing [sp]The bountiful river translating literally as one full of 'sweetfish' takes on a rather disturbing overtone when you consider what happens if they fail to solve the riddle, with them becoming a feast for Beato and her gang. So it's quite a funny little double-meaning there[/sp]

Well, technically speaking, the epitaph is solved in EP7.
But it's a good idea to wait until it's all translated, here I am impatiently waiting for ep8 and that's gonna take a while, as usual.
Also how did you "figure out" higurashi, did you pinpoint a culprit and stuff? :v: Just curious.

Yeah, I worked out the culprit (Specifically, actually, and that the culprit that everyone pointed to [sp]Oyashiro-sama[/sp] probably wasn't "bad" but did exist) Well, actually, since there are two culprits [sp]I worked out that it was Takano from Curse-Killing, and the syringe imagery/usage made me suspect that the paranoia/delusions were caused by a disease/parasite. That last is actually partially due to my own training as a Zoologist, I've become fascinated with host behaviour modification by parasites. Rena's "delusions" in Atonement only confirmed it for me, just that the truth had got mired in her delusions[/sp]
Of course, Umineko implies some further muddying of the waters of Higurashi [sp]with Bernkastel and Lambdadelta[/sp]
Edit: Hmm, that came out a bit disjointed, damn spoiler tags, ah well, you should get the meaining I'm trying to convey, and if not, just hit me up on steam instead

Well, I get the gist of it, I think I probably came up with something similar at the time, but I'm not very good at solving mysteries, it's like, I just want to keep reading and see what happens next, you know?
Either way that's a pretty good deduction, you're pretty good at linking things together and making an argument with that, which is pretty fundamental at solving mysteries.

I love mysteries, it has to be said. I like constructing theories from the clues we're given, and tend to be pretty good at picking up really subtle hints, and then challenging those theories with new clues and remaking them if the theory is demolished by the clue and so on. I probably should've been some kind of investigator, rather than a zoology student.
Of course, when a mystery is as well written as the ones that Ryukishi07 writes, I also want to keep reading, so...
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/yGn2p.jpg[/img_thumb]
That was extremely un-subtle.

Yeah you know that series I told you about a long time ago that you must have never checked out otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question. Kinda like AKIRA, Shamo, and countless others.
I can't really figure out the best way to anti-alias avatars, does anyone know what tool or filter would do it?
(I have Potatochop CS5, but I use GIMP mainly.)
o ye new twgok~
Just blur the rough edges a bit.
Why, what avatar do you want that needs good quality?

I can't read everything that comes my way and I DID read shamo.
