The ending was.. different I admit, kind of brought out that Japan weirdness that was missing the entire series. Also it was available on Adult Swim Fix online download so it wasn't illegal ;)

Random question but why do so many anime watchers hate dubs? not all dubs are bad. I would even say that anime like cow boy bebop and gurrenn lagann sound better in english then they would in japanese even if I spoke japanise.

I do wish how ever that funamation got more then 12 voice actors. I mean I hear the same voice so many times in anime.
Finished the first episode of .hack//quantum.
Shit was glorious.
For me in dubs, while some voices are spot on, often minor/supporting or even sometimes major characters have an entirely shitty dub voice. So while the majority of the dubbed voices aren't bad, it's just a few characters that ruin it. In Gurren lagann it was probably Kamina's dub. Even in Cowboy Bebop I thought that the characters that would only appear for one episode were often practically emotionless.
I liked kamina's voice. But that's probably because I heard his english voice first.
I thought the Japanese VA conveyed his emotions far better, it seemed like he was actually passionate about it.
I liked the FLCL and Cowboy Beebop Dub :colbert: I also liked Gurren Lagann's Dub :colbert:

God no please not one of these debates...
I loved E7's voice cast, I thought everyone fit their roles rather well, it's one of the better dubbed anime's I have seen. I tend to always watch them dubbed first because I only catch anime on [AS] so unless I really enjoy a series enough to want to catch the later episodes before they air in english by getting the subbed ones instead, I won't purposely search the net for random subbed anime.
