Watch it. It is a parody, and it is an amazing anime.
Definatly worth watching even if you don't like mecha anime.

But Mahou shoujo animes mostly consists of little girls being cutesy and lots of other cutesy stuff that makes a guy go "What the hell is this?!" and is mostly aimed at little girls
