I dunno, it never hurts to learn more languages.

And since my interest in games suddenly dropped, I decided to do something better with my time.
I'm ready to turn new page.
Learning a new language takes a loooooong time
So don't even bother if you're just going to try because you're bored
what didnt i do?
Listen to your teacher it seems.
I dunno, thats why I asked you, how did you forget 4 years worth of spanish?
i passed though

I think that surrounding language can have a lot of influence for you.
For example, I learned english quickly mostly because I watched cartoons on English, played Video games on English, read comics on English and so on.
I mastered English really quickly.
Hell, even my English teacher thought I was born abroad.

My sister knows Spanish, and all she did was watch Spanish series and shows.

Most likely.
or if Swedish people understand Norwegian. oh wait...
Actually hardly any Swedish person understands Norwegian.
But most Norwegians understands Swedish.
There is also a big difference in this particular exception, because we've mixed in with eachothers for a long time and have just taken parts of our languages and mixed them together into a mush. Mostly Norway since we've been under Danish control for 300 years and Swedish control for 100 years.
I don't see the point of learning japanese, since I don't plan to travel/work at Japan.
To me it's a hobby.

Yeah, I see others learned it by influence of their surroundings, too.
Grew up with English, learning Spanish atm
Grew up with Finnish, Greek and English, so I know all three fluently :3:
Grew up with english, learned french and I have to say fuck french.
Grew up with brazilian portuguese(there's a difference you know) and english.
Grew up during Yugoslav wars, so I couldn't have that happy childhood as you guys had.
Oh wait.
Grew up with Finnish, Greek and English, so I know all three fluently :3:
Greek too? Wow. I did learn English, German and Spanish, seeing as I come from Spain. There are two languages I plan on learning though, Japanese and Russian.
Gosick 3 has so many damn plotholes.
Grew up with english, learned french and I have to say fuck french.
I spent five years learning french and three years learning russian.
Failed both and forgotten what little I did know already. :v:
You need dedication if you want to learn some language.

"Bioshock" on the right.
I see.
I just thought they understand each other because their dialects sound so similar.
At least people in former Yugoslavia can understand eachother, but then again there was Serbocroatian language.
I'm thinking of studying Japanese or maybe German.
I already know former Yugoslav languages (Serbian, Croatian, Macedonian, Montenegrin, Slovene, Bosnian), English, can orient in Russian.
my terrible dad is from kosovo.
I really like the culture and all but my dad just treats me like shit D:
Well, if he is Albanian Kosovar, then he wont be able to understand other neighboring countries.
I love how they say they are Iliryan ancestors, yet they are Muslims and their country was made when Austrohungary forced Serbs to leave today's Albania after Balkan wars.
Sorry for off-topic.

and it didn't even take awesome detective skills to figure out what had happened in the case of the murder of the fortune teller in the first episode, I had figured it out before they mentioned it.
