Because another studio took over for the second season but IIRC the studio that did the first season came back for the third season but by then the damage was already done.

Not to mention the whole fucking visual continuity was thrown out the window despite the second season taking place almost immediately after the first one. That was what killed the show, not small things like QUALITY every once and a while.

It's like this weird-ass anime about this girl going through a magic portal thingy to an alternate worls with majik rainbow beasts and unicorn things as government advisors and the main character becomes this president of one the majik rainbow kingdoms or sumshit

I enjoyed it, but the ending was a bit dull. It was one of those "and everything is back to normal" endings.
