One final consideration: I've never played Gmod (or the games that it was created for). In fact, I had never heard of it before joining. While that may seem like a dumb thing to admit on this site, I say it because I joined this forum based entirely on the quality of the community. It just seemed like a great message board, and exactly what I had been looking for. And it's a decision that I've never regretted. Facepunch is the first site I browse in the morning, and the last I visit before bed.

I've been a member since '09, and I was almost going to get gold before Garry changed the system (or maybe I wasn't, no idea). And I really like the new avatar sizes for gold members . But on top of that, I've been looking to upgrade for a while, but just don't have the money for it, being poor sucks. Regardless of whether or not I get gold , I just want to tell you that your actions in this thread have proven to me that generosity is still alive, and I applaud you guys for that.
