I've never been much good at these persuasive contests, but here goes... Ever since browsing in 2009, and finally joining up with Facepunch in 2011, I've had the opportunity to recognize and interact with a community. While initially lurking, in a social anxiety of the sometimes critical population, I eventually outgrew my fear, and began to post with greater and greater ease, discovering for the first time what it truly meant to be part of a community greater than myself. Facepunch has become something of a second home to me. I've never had any difficulty finding common ground with the people here. Facpunch brings with it a variety of people, from all over the globe, all of which gather for different purposes, in different parts of the forums. With a vast plethora of different interests, Facepunch has always found a way to house each and every person's needs, discussion topics, and hobbies. Many of which I share myself. It's a giant museum of hobbies, each willing to share and welcome those who explore it, and that's something I've always yearned to become apart of. A community--and much more, a family. So having gold membership would be something of great value to me. As a longtime and regular user, I haven't found too much difficulty getting along without it. But most of the time, when difficulties arise--and they do, quite often in fact--blue members are the ones penalized for it. Gold membership would allow me to hold my place in this community, secure from the inconveniences of being a blue--plus, a larger avatar wouldn't hurt. In the long run, I'd like to become a better, more significant part of this forum--and most of all--this community. Also I don't have paypal.
