It was a bit boring but holy fuck sad.
Saya no uta contains gore lots of gore supposedly but there was only one actual CG of gore, it overall was cute.
Cross Channel is more on the standard rail of h-games but it's pretty funny and the plot is decently interesting.
Ever 17 is sorta a mystery VN, contains a absolutely fucking awesome plot.
I'll try Cross Channel, then Ever 17.

You have to disable CCCP to kick in on your MKV's, yes. This is also a reason why I prefer K-Lite because it gives you options to disable and enable every codec and filter during installation.
And never forget to use output as EVGR.
