I can't believe that with the holidays almost over (well, 2 weeks left for me yet) I still have barely watched any anime at all. I find it hard to find motivation when nothing I'm watching is better than just "good".
Maybe I'll go back and rewatch one of those things I consider a 10/10 "masterpiece" to hopefully kick-start me back into watching shit.

Well not really the majority of people here play it a lot, some don't even play it at all lol. Though there are some competitive ones here on which almost everyday they play.
And me, well I've been busy a lot of college, especially since it's Midterm Exams week, tons of projects to get done and study a lot at the same time. So I couldn't get much around online let alone play osu! and stuff.

So okay just tried the demo, it was pretty simple decent fun, though gets repetitive fast, at least for me.
Art style and graphics is pretty nice, nothing too fancy but it's awwight. It was just kind of weird though that some enemies were 3-D while all of your characters and most of the NPCs and generic hostiles were 2-D lol, they seem to look more natural to me in side-scrollers but in overhead RPGs like these, they suddenly look weird for me :p
Gameplay is simple fun and stuff. I mostly enjoyed the shopkeeper part of the game, it was a nice change of pace for JRPGs, I wouldn't mind if the whole game was actually just about shopkeeping lol, just gimmicks of ridiculous and cliché RPG items, shop designing and stuff, and quirky buyers parodying average JRPG characters and NPCs. It does get a bit annoying that some buyers are too picky and strict on the pricing and crap, but otherwise it was pretty cool. On the adventure side of the game, it's decent enough, fun for a while, but gets tiresome and repetitive fast, reminds me a lot of Ragnarok Online back then lol. Though the variety of enemies seem to keep it fun a bit, though some enemies have the ever annoying zergling syndrome which just causes more frustration. Would be cool if I could assign hotkeys for items (unless there is one and missed it, didn't bother reading instructions and stuff)
Music and sounds are nice, some music loops get repetitive fast too, to the point I mute it and just listen to my own tunes. Sound effects are cute too, nothing special but has a good amount of charm to it. Voice acting is pretty decent as well, wish it was used on all dialogue scenes, but eh seems like it's the same as most JRPGs where voice overs are only heard on important scenes, during gameplay and stuff, not a huge problem but would had been nice to have voices every time.
The story seems to be a good turning direction from the average JRPGs as well, instead of saving the world/land/being a legendary powerful hero to stop evil forever, it's about raising money to pay off a loan. Characters are likeable enough, quirky, cute and energetic, even though a bit shallow sometimes. [del]I also got spoiled a lot of playing as customizable characters in WRPGs lol[/del]
Probably going to play the full if it's released, though Lair of the Shadow Broker for Mass Effect 2 would most likely make it forget about this lol

Nah the best player/s are more like ShaggoN, Sprosive, Jerrysr, Lesjuh, Gladi, Cyclone, Lybydose, Harder, tobebuta, Ana Coppola, LemonWater, Doomsday, ykcarrot- actually I can go on all day since a lot of them are complete monsters in the game in a lot of different fields :U

I used to keep playing osu! heavily for a month, then just playing it every now and then for a month, in a cycle. :v:
Like I was saying before though, ever since I started trying to map seriously ([url=http://osu.ppy.sh/s/19620]obligatory SHAMELESS PLUG[/url]) I've basically stopped playing singleplayer osu!, and only open up for "Multiplayer" or "Edit" now.
Also god damn I don't get how you can have 500 replays on one song that just seems insane to me.
