Will the next word you say be 'no'?
Will the next word you say be 'no'?
Nope. Did I break the paradox?
Nope. Did I break the paradox?
I used to do that to my baby brother... I tell him: "do you want to say no?" he says NO! I say: but you just said no but if that no means answering negatively then you never said no. however, you already said no, meaning you agreed to my question... although your answer was negative, which means you never should've said no.... etc. etc. kinda hard to translate Arabic dialogues.
Will the next word you say be 'no'?
Reminds me of: If I asked you to have sex with me, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?
A sign says "This is not a Sign"....... ow my head
A sign says "This is not a Sign"....... ow my head
But that's not a paradox, it's just a lie. It's like saying "I have no feet". A paradox would be two signs beside eachother, the left saying "The right sign has false information" and the right saying "The left sign has true information.

I piss through my finger.
I tried a paradox once and it didnt I tried a paradox once and it didnt I tried a paradox once and it didnt do anything
I'm pretty sure it is. If it doesn't grow longer, then he lied. Meaning it has to grow longer. But then that means he told the truth, and it shouldn't have grown.
He says "my nose will grow longer right now" It becomes a lie if it doesn't grow instantly so it grows a second later instead

I parked my boat between a paradox.

The EPR paradox. The operators corresponding to the spin along the x, y, and z direction, denoted Sx, Sy, and Sz respectively, can be represented using the Pauli matrices: where stands for Planck's constant divided by 2π. The eigenstates of Sz are represented as and the eigenstates of Sx are represented as The Hilbert space of the electron pair is , the tensor product of the two electrons' Hilbert spaces. The spin singlet state is where the two terms on the right hand side are what we have referred to as state I and state II above. From the above equations, it can be shown that the spin singlet can also be written as where the terms on the right hand side are what we have referred to as state Ia and state IIa. To illustrate how this leads to the violation of local realism, we need to show that after Alice's measurement of Sz (or Sx), Bob's value of Sz (or Sx) is uniquely determined, and therefore corresponds to an "element of physical reality". This follows from the principles of measurement in quantum mechanics. When Sz is measured, the system state ψ collapses into an eigenvector of Sz. If the measurement result is +z, this means that immediately after measurement the system state undergoes an orthogonal projection of ψ onto the space of states of the form For the spin singlet, the new state is Similarly, if Alice's measurement result is -z, the system undergoes an orthogonal projection onto which means that the new state is This implies that the measurement for Sz for Bob's electron is now determined. It will be -z in the first case or +z in the second case. It remains only to show that Sx and Sz cannot simultaneously possess definite values in quantum mechanics. One may show in a straightforward manner that no possible vector can be an eigenvector of both matrices. More generally, one may use the fact that the operators do not commute, along with the Heisenberg uncertainty relation
wut?
What would happen if Pinocchio went back in time to prevent himself from sayings his nose would divid by 0
Paradox? February 29th is a paradox I guess.
That episode of Invader ZIM where ZIM tried sending rubber pigs back in time to kill Dib, but made him more powerful, so ZIM went back in time to replace his brain with a rubber pig, but in the present Zim is holding hise brain. FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
He says "my nose will grow longer right now" It becomes a lie if it doesn't grow instantly so it grows a second later instead
Still makes it a paradox, because he still says it, whatever happens still happens within that time

cassie says: YOU KILL CONVERSATIONS YOU MURDERERERERERERERER Rob says: Sorrrrrrrrrrrrry Hey but me killing conversations brings up a conversation
This sentence is false.
What would happen if Pinocchio said, "my nose will grow longer right now"?

That's not a paradox.
[img_thumb]http://craigslol.com/wp-content/uploads/solved.jpg[/img_thumb]
:psyduck: nice find
The bit with the time paradox and the stock market going up would make his nose grow because it isn't something he knows is true. The noise growing would be based on what he knows as true and false. Like if he thinks someone wants to kill him (But no one is actually) and he says "someone is going kill me" then his nose would not grow as his brain thinks of it as the truth. Or if he stepped on a bug and thought he killed it and someone asks if he killed a bug and he says 'No' his nose would grow as his brain thinks it was true that he killed a bug, but his brain knows that his said reply was a lie. The base of the nose growing is based in the brain. Well that is my theory. Its probably incorrect as I haven't seen the movie or anything but I get the general concept. Rate informative if you got it and rate useful if you didn't
good job. You foresee yourself remembering what you foresaw before.
Come on, stop it with these time paradoxes. Of course things get paradoxal when you make up the rules yourselves. You might aswell be saying "A car that's only capable of driving 100 km/h drives twice as fast!" :psypop:
You called?
