This only happens if you drink TOO much. You can get pretty drunk without having a hangover or any other such thing. That'll only happen if you get to the point that you can't remember shit that happened the day before.
I've tried to get high like 3-4 times, but it'll just never take. My friend says I just haven't smoked enough. The most I've felt is a little extra hunger, at which point we all went out to Taco Bell. Beer and liquor tend to be more consistent for me, but I'm getting to the point where I just can't stand the taste of beer. One too many out-of-control parties.
A couple weeks ago for my birthday, my brothers came out to visit me and we went out on the town getting all kinds of drunk. I pretty much stayed in bed for all of the following day, and I somehow ended up with some yellow tape in my room that says "Danger natural gas no smoking." I have no idea where that came from. That's an example of drinking [b]too[/b] much.

High because if i get very drunk i do stupid shit and if left unsupervised i would probably kill someone with a plastic spoon. If i get very high everything is funny, i get very hungry, and then i would fall asleep.
Plus Music is so much better high.
I'd rather get high, as I haven't done so yet.

I definitely prefer being high.
Drunk has it's place, but alcohol opens me up far too much. I like to keep my secrets secret.
Plus, I always feel sloppy and stupid when I'm drunk. I do drugs so that I can look at the world through different eyes. I would much rather do a real drug (marijuana, LSD, shrooms) than drink.

I love them both equally.
They're for different occasions.
Although, nothing beats a joint and 1 beer together. Not much more.
