-is generally socialy retarted
not only that, the vegetarians i serve at work sometimes piss me off no-end

Actually, animals didn't start to eat other animals until carnivores showed up. Before there were animals, there were plants, who obviously didn't eat meat. And before there were plants, there was nothing.

I don't get the "animals eat animals, it's nature" argument. Animals don't wear clothes or use computers. Some rape and kill for fun. Just because we can, doesn't mean we should.
Although at the same time I don't understand "We don't need meat to live" your point being? Sure, we don't need it, but that's like saying we don't need sex to procreate, since we have other ways of doing it now. Sure statistically vegetarians live longer, but there are few vegetarians than omnivores, so the statistics about them wouldn't be as accurate. Also it could be completely unrelated to diet; people who are vegetarians for moral reasons might have other strong morals, and so maybe fewer of the (already small group) vegetarians smoke/drink/do drugs/join the army or something and so don't die of causes like that. I'm probably sounding pretty misinformed here so I'll stop.

I hate most choice non-vegetarians, they generalise so that they assume that every choice vegetarian is "MEAT IS MURDER" activist and try to stop you from eating meat yourself and are PETAish extremists. You know, it's possible that you serve a lot more vegetarians at your work than you think, but you just don't know, because they don't even mention it. It's just you only really realise that people are vegetarians when they are all activist about it, giving the false impression that most if not all are activist, as the majority of people who you have met who have brought it up are those activist people.
And I don't see how someone being an ass in an anime club for reasons unrelated to vegetarianism can lower your opinion on vegetarians simply because that person is a vegetarian.

I dont really mind the thought that I eat some cute fluffy cow-thing.
I dont mind they lived in horrible conditions and died a painfull death. They
wouldnt be less dead and eaten if they lived in luxury. Animals are way below us
in the food chain, so we kill them and eat them. Thats how life goes. If no animal
would ever be slaughtered, what would you do with them? Watch them all day long so
that you can hug and cuddle them? Animals dont experience life as we do. They are driven
by instinct. Their reactions resemble human behavior at some point, but they are not
self-aware in the way we are. they don't fear death, they are driven by the instinct of
self-preservation. Every animal is designed to be fed on by another animal. we just evolved into
natures fat bastard kids sitting at the very top.
And there are some huge bullshit arguments vegetarians come up with, i want to kill right on the spot:

Bullshit, why would you eat a cat? It is barely skin and bones. We have other animals that
are way easier to breed and feed. Cats are usefull in other ways, just not for eating. Not a
hundered years ago, cats were still the number one pet, because they got rid of all the rats
and mice wich were a huge problem for everyone. They just etablished as an animal you keep
around your house, alive at best. also we automatically feel attatched to them, because their
faces ressemble the proportions of a toddler, wich activates our parenting instincts.
Its the same story with dogs: There are so many animals you can breed with ease, but dogs
are just extremely handy. I personally dont like them, but then again we live in the age of I-pods
and vaccinations for everyone where I dont really need a dog as much as I would have 70 years
ago anymore.
