Apparently the writer something had conflicts with what he wanted the story to be and what the producers or whoever wanted it to be. Can't remember exactly.

I definitely have to agree with My Name is Earl. I know it wasn't ever supposed to end with the list getting finished, but it could've ended on a better note than that cliffhanger. To this day, I haven't forgiven NBC for that one.
