Jesus that must hurt. I didn't even flinch at the pic. Am I normal?
Jesus that must hurt. I didn't even flinch at the pic. Am I normal?
Me neither, I'm pretty desensitized by these things. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
hope he doesn't recover. (User was banned for this post ("Ass" - Orkel))
well there goes my pie :suicide:
Once, about 10 minutes into my culinary class, i cut about an inch straight into my thumb joint into the bone. I slapped on a bandage and finished my dish and presented it a bit over an hour later. Then my culinary teacher insisted i go to the school nurse so i went and she yelled at me for taking over an hour to tell her because of stitches and blah blah blah. It was cool to see my thumb joint moving though. Anyways, that was cool but your friend's injury is cooler :(
That's pretty nasty. Back in high school I remember someone cutting into this area on their hand with a bandsaw: The saw had a brand new blade, and it had cut nearly 2" in before they even felt it.
Am I the only one who read the thread title COMPLETELY wrong...?
Reminds me so much of
One time i was horsing around when my little brother got pissed and shoved me. I was near a bunch of really old stuff and the dull end of a rusty nail literally cut open my wrist. It wasn't bleeding, but it hurt like a MOTHERFUCKER, man. I still have the scar.
What's the point of spoiler tagging the link?
What's the point of spoiler tagging the link?
so we dont get a faceful of missing finger and gore its common courtesy, you know.
School needs one of these
The shop I used had one, they're fucking incredible. We actually set it off once or twice, it really does work. We had a kid who was using a router table and we all told him to watch his hands. He ignored us and took the tip off much like your classmate. We didn't feel to bad because he was an idiot and we did tell him many times, so we all just got brooms and swept saw dust over the blood so it would absorb it and swept it in to the vacuum system we had. like I always tell people when using heavy equipment and power tools, respect the machine and its power. Be safe at all times and don't take short cuts, the machine just does what you want it to do. Any accident on your part is pilot error (unless mechanical failure, but still)
Reminds me of my friend about a week ago who tried grabbing a weight he thought that was going to hit someone he was spotting but ended up break his finger and taking a junk out so you could see his bone. The guy was squatting like 400 pounds or something in school.
OUCH.
That really sucks. I'm glad I've been out of shop class for years now.
Yeah he's in a lot of pain today according to fb lol
