A world where you can't joke about tragic events (like the one in norway) would be a really sad and depressing world. Whether the jokes QuickSnapz posted were funny is not a matter of subject but how it is reppresented.
To state anything regarding what is or isn't funny, you really have to go inside what is funny, to understand its nature. I'm not going to do it, but I will say that finding it funny makes you happy, which is good, and not, makes you unhappy, which is bad.
If you assume you have the ability to do both (as evidenced by the people who criticize the joke maker (either it's intended to make him change, stop other people from changing in favor of the joke maker or is useless), then (and assuming that whether you find something funny or not doesn't change your moral fiber (as it doesn't, I fund them funny and I'm not a bomber)) the only thing that changes when finding it funny is that you get happier, which we have established that is good.
So loosen up, guys.

Okay I really, really don't understand this
I don't think we've EVER shown this much sympathy for a tragic event
Haiti earthquake, Japan earthquake/tsunami, we didn't see a hundred people change their avatar to the Haitian or Japanese flags.
And now that a few people make jokes we have a thousand angry replies

Those were natural disasters, Not a man killing innocent teens because of politics
One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is just a statistic.
Hey, guys, Hitler jokes!
Facepunch hypocrisy at its finest!

Because it happened on soil that was near them, rather then one half a world away. And you're right, it is hypocrisy, You all will laugh at jokes about 9/11, make jokes about hati being a shit hole, or about japan, but won't about one in Europe.

I thought Stalin said that.

I can honestly say that I care exactly the same amount about any of those as I do the events in Norway.
I thought Stalin said that.
I didn't say it was from Hitler, but according to WikiQuotes, it doesn't belong to Stalin either, I thought the same as you. So, I dunno. v:v:v

Maybe because it hasn't even been a day?

I haven't been around for any of the past events, but in my opinion, "too soon" is the period where the family and friends of those who died are still in the mourning period. The weeks following the incident, when those affected are still rattled by the experience. It's no more wrong to post images 'too soon' than it is to post them later, the difference is simply that it's inconsiderate and in bad taste.
Maybe because it hasn't even been a day?
So, if it's been a week, or a year, or a decade, it will be fine to laugh at it then? How the hell does that work.

exactly, the images should remain as distasteful on day one as they should a decade from now.
so I finally got around to watching cyberbully and I noticed this:

Am I outrageously late, or was no one else immature enough to feel obligated to point it out?
Probably late but fuck the police.
