This happened to me once. A name of a detective popped into my head and I hopped out of bed to find a pen and write the name on my hand.
In the morning, I saw it on my hand and expanded on that idea.
For the last few months, I've been writing an episodic film noir series based around that detective whose name just ended up in my head one night before falling asleep.
I watched that clown porn movie you guys linked back on page 135.. holy shit you have to watch it. It is amazing.
