Er, that statement alone is a scientific failure. There's plasma (the state of matter), and blood plasma, but they're NOT in any way the same thing. Considering plasma requires a rather significant temperature to exist at standard pressure, that should be obvious.
Blood plasma is just the liquid that the blood cells are suspended in - it's 90% water, the rest being dissolved proteins. No gases, let alone plasma.
