I always thought Spongebob was stupid. It's quotable, yeah, but it's juvenile humor. I'd rather have stupid pony jokes here than yet more Spongebob - at least then I'd find some funny reaction pics.
And I never got the hate for MLP. I've still not watched an episode, but I've encountered far more (and far more annoying) MLP-haters than MLP-lovers. Only know of one fan of the show, and he's mentioned it a total of once. Whereas here, someone posts a single one, even one that's decently funny, and it triggers an avalanche of angry posts saying telling him to GTFO.
Just saying.

It's always the people who hate ponies who post pony stuff, and then they complain that the pony people are always in their face when they are the ones looking up the shit.
