Watched first episode of Angel Beats. Shit was bland, music was horrible, lacking and plain. As said on Sankaku the composition really was boring. The animation often failed hard on their faces, gave them really fat faces. Also they overdid "purdy gradients" at times, as if they tried to cover up bad artwork or something by adding gradients and glow to make it pretty.
As for The Gathering, it was OKAY. The entertainement was pretty dull this year, but I also just didn't bother to even check it out at times so I was to blame too. My computer fucked up for some reason, the day before it worked, at The Gathering it couldn't even boot. Tinkered with it for about 5 hours before I gave up, bought a packet of DVD's and burnt a Windows 7 installation on one of them, put it in my PC and crossed my fingers for it to not shut down during installation. So I had to install all shit and most games anew, which sucked, but whatever, not that much of a hassle when you have download speeds of 40MB/S at max.
As always my stomach was ill and filled to the brink of destruction with gas because of the irregular eating schedules, the lack of nutrition and the like and you feel pretty fucking tired, sadly I only got that "good tired" feeling on saturday to sunday, which sucks since sunday is the last day, and we left at around 07:00-08:00. But we played a bit of WC III (custom maps, TD, Team Survival, DOTA, Resident Evil, etc etc), Command and Conquer 3, Heroes of Newerth, Counter Strike Source, Battlefield 1943, Age of Empires 2, Empire Earth, Bad Company 2, Dungeon Keeper 2, R.U.S.E Beta and Trackmania. We were supposed to play Civilization 4 and Heroes III too, but it never happened.
At the moment I have a lot of beating sounds in my head from the, as always, loud techno songs and bass-tests people play at full force in the ship, this happens every year so it's not that bothersome, but I really should use earplugs if I'm going next time. My friend, who reserved a seat alone for his sound equipment, evened it more out by playing some Russian Red Army music (on my request), purposfully annoying anime songs (Like Konata from Lucky Star singing Head Cha-la Karaoke), Rap, Techno, Pop, Rock, 80's etc etc. Lots of variation. I forgot to take with me some headphones and a pillow, and those small hybrids of earplugs and headphones I do have had too short cable, so I could never get around to listening to anything from my PC. But lack of pillow is no problem, just leaned over my desk and slept on my jacket.
We got kicked out from the DotA competition because we showed lack of effort to be in it, which is retarded as it was the team we were against that showed lack of effort and will to play in the competition. Some of my friends went over to the team asking when we were going to start fighting and the team leader didn't reply and just blankly stared at his screen or some shit. So nothing happened and we got kicked even though we tried to get the wheels turning.
The Heroes of Newerth competition that I didn't partake in went well, they won two times, lost the third, went down to the losers matches, won one match and lost the other. In other words it went pretty well, got to the semi-finale two times, which is pretty good for our clan.
I arrived home at around 10:00, went to sleep around 11:30, was awaken for dinner at around 21:30 or something, went to bed again at 23:00, woke up 05:00, ate noodles and drank two cups of tea, went to sleep again at 07:00, woke up at 16:30. And here I am at 20:37 (writing time).

That's really bad, you need to learn how to apply pen pressure to the strokes in the Window -> Brushes window. All your lines have the same thickness all the way, even when ending it just ends as a round thick ball. Makes it lack life and look really bad.
The eye is horribly detailless and doesn't follow the original at all. Small variations and fixes to an image is okay, but totally ignoring big parts of it and degrading it is just bad.

Whilst you don't learn how to draw you can learn how to trace things so it looks good, which is very useful in commercial graphical design and for finding quick turnarounds around copyright laws and such if you find something you want to use but don't have the time to get the rights for it, or it's too small. Of course blatantly tracing it right off may be considered as plagiarism so you have to make your own tweaks and modifications to it and it'll be yours.
Also making vector traces will allow you to make desktop quality 1920x1080 images out of small 400x300 images. Which is the main purpose people make vector drawings for. Also stupid signatures.
You don't always have to learn, tracing has a very practical side to it. Anybody can do it, but it takes so much time, and a bit of learning to do it right, so most people don't bother.

That would be your computer not being able to process 1080p video smoothly. Either downgrade or look for the best output settings in your video player and find the best codecs (search around on google.). You could also try to change to SMplayer and see if that works. Also be sure to not have anything else running that takes up RAM and CPU.
Screen resoltuion doesn't make any difference. I watch 1080p on my 1680x1050 without problems.

It's because of stuff like this it's so good. DNA and evolution and The Holy Bible in one. Lots of "deep" stuff to dig into it that you can grab out of it which is awesome for school work and such since you can just talk and talk about all sorts of shit about the show. But even so it's all really just plain forward simple and everything and all the references to DNA, evolution and The Bible is really just a joke. It falls under the same kind of thing they did in Neon Genesis Evangelion. "Why did you give it that name?" "Because it sounds deep". It's that simple. It's not actually deep, it just sounds like it.
